"Geetha Govindam" is a Telugu romantic comedy film released in 2018. The movie revolves around the life of Vijay Govind, a well-mannered and innocent college professor. 

Vijay, played by Vijay Deverakonda, leads a simple life and has strong values. He meets a spirited and independent girl named Geetha, portrayed by Rashmika Mandanna, on a bus journey. Due to a series of misunderstandings, Geetha forms a negative opinion of Vijay. However, Vijay is instantly smitten by her beauty and tries to win her over.

As fate would have it, Vijay's sister happens to be engaged to Geetha's brother. This connection brings Vijay and Geetha into frequent encounters, much to Vijay's delight and Geetha's annoyance. Despite Geetha's initial hostility, Vijay's charming personality slowly starts to win her over.

To impress Geetha and prove his worthiness, Vijay takes up the challenge of rescuing her from a sticky situation involving a compromising photograph. During this time, the two spend more time together and Geetha begins to see Vijay's genuine nature.

However, their blossoming romance faces several hurdles. Vijay's friend, Phaneendra, misunderstands Vijay's intentions and assumes that he is trying to take advantage of Geetha. This leads to a confrontation between Vijay and Phaneendra, causing a strain in their friendship.

Just as things start to improve between Vijay and Geetha, an unexpected turn of events puts their relationship at risk. Vijay's father accidentally learns about the closeness between Vijay and Geetha and misunderstands their relationship. This leads to further complications and Vijay must work hard to convince his family and Geetha's family of his true intentions.

The movie explores themes of love, trust, misunderstandings, and the importance of communication in relationships. It takes the audience on a rollercoaster ride filled with humor, emotions, and heartfelt moments as Vijay tries to win Geetha's heart and overcome the obstacles in their path.
